This is a series of fabric samples that were created using resist dyeing techniques such as clamping, folding, and Arashi, a Japanese technique called Arashi where the fabric is tied to a pole with string and then immersed in a dye bath. Once the samples of fabric were tied or clamped they were dyed using immersion dyeing with acid dye and MX dye.
