Isabel Oliva is a multidisciplinary artist and designer from Miami, Florida. She completed her undergraduate degree in Fiber studies at the Maryland Institute College of art in 2022. She approaches creating work through a layering of different processes such as drawing, screen printing, weaving and garment. She is interested in creating artificial realms inspired by the natural world that allow her to explore ideas of personal mythology, animals, magic realism and ecofeminism. She navigates a space where wildlife, fantasy and reality merge together in an atmosphere that is aerial yet grounded. Isabel's work has been featured in group exhibitions throughout the US, including Miami, FL and Baltimore, MD.
